NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 12 – Vivo Energy Kenya has announced sponsorship of seven rally drivers set to compete in the 2026 Shell Autocross series and the Safari Rally Kenya 2026 scheduled for March 12–15 in Naivasha.
The drivers backed under the Shell sponsorship are Tinashe Gatimu/Caroline Gatimu, Rajveer Thethy/Laban Cliff Onserio, Lisa Christoffersen/Christabel Wacuka, Neel Gohil/Wayne Fernandez, Michuki Hinga/Mwangi Kioni, Ishmael Azeli/John Ngugi, and Suleiman Munyua.
Speaking during the unveiling at Shell Northview station on Thika Road, Vivo Energy Kenya Retail Manager Patrick Masinde said the sponsorship aims to support Kenyan rally talent.
Shell has long-standing involvement in global motorsport, including partnerships with Scuderia Ferrari and Hyundai Motorsport.
The brand is also the title sponsor of the Motorsports Excellence Awards scheduled later this month.
