NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 9 – Isuzu East Africa has delivered 95 vehicles to the National Police Service (NPS) in a deal valued at Sh600 million, strengthening police mobility and operational capacity across the country.
The delivery forms part of Phase Seven of the government vehicle leasing programme, under which Isuzu is supplying a total of 591 vehicles worth Sh7 billion to the NPS, with subsequent deliveries expected over the next four months.
The latest batch comprises 66 units of the Isuzu TFS 87 Double Cabin and 29 units of the Isuzu TFS 87 Single Cabin, vehicles designed to operate in diverse and demanding terrain.
“These Isuzu pickups are built to perform in diverse terrain and demanding conditions. We are honored to support the National Police Service with mobility solutions that enhance operational readiness while delivering durability, efficiency, and value over their entire lifecycle,” said Isuzu East Africa Chair of the Board and Managing Director Rita Kavashe.
The vehicle leasing programme is a key pillar in the modernisation of government fleets, aimed at reducing maintenance downtime, improving reliability, and ensuring predictable budgeting for public institutions while keeping frontline officers operational.
