Sophos Integrates Endpoint Protection into Taegis Subscriptions

NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 3– Cybersecurity firm Sophos has announced that its Endpoint protection is now natively integrated into all Taegis Extended Detection and Response (XDR) and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) subscriptions.

The move, which follows Sophos’ acquisition of Secureworks in February 2025, gives customers immediate access to combined prevention, detection, and response capabilities on a single platform.

“Integrating Sophos Endpoint with Taegis delivers a best-in-class unified protection, detection, investigation, and response platform, while also reducing customer costs,” said Raja Patel, Chief Product Officer at Sophos.

“Too many organizations still treat endpoint protection like a commodity, and that’s exactly the mistake attackers are counting on. The reality is, not all endpoint products are built to stop today’s hands-on-keyboard attacks.”

Sophos said the integration is expected to lower licensing costs, reduce management overhead through native integration, and expand response actions to accelerate threat mitigation.

Customers will also have the option to continue using non-Sophos endpoint security solutions, with telemetry support for platforms such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, and Carbon Black by Broadcom.

According to the company, the integration expands the value and flexibility it delivers to its customers.
