NAIROBI, Kenya, July 9 – Small and medium-sized businesses across Africa are set to benefit from a new partnership between digital payment provider Network International and global business software company Odoo.
The two firms have come together to streamline how SMEs manage and accept payments, with a focus on simplicity, flexibility, and growth.
At the heart of the partnership is a new integration that embeds Network International’s payment services directly into the Odoo platform.
This means that businesses using Odoo’s software can now accept both card payments and mobile money without needing to leave the system they already use for operations.
The solution is being rolled out across key markets in East and South Africa.
“This collaboration makes payment acceptance far more seamless for our merchants,” said Patrick Lukusa, Managing Director of Odoo in Kenya.
“Whether it’s mobile money or cards, our users now have a tool that adapts to their customers’ needs, making it easier to grow.”
Judy Waruiru, Regional Managing Director for Eastern Africa at Network International, noted that the partnership also prioritizes security and usability.
“We’re not just making payments easier; we’re making them smarter. With tools for fraud protection and real-time data tracking, businesses can stay ahead and make confident decisions,” she said.
As demand grows for reliable digital payment systems across Africa, the move is expected to improve the way SMEs operate and serve their customers.
It also allows Network International to tap into Odoo’s vast customer base across the continent, extending its presence in some of Africa’s fastest-growing economies.
