NAIROBI, Kenya Jun 9 – Mitini Scapes Development Limited, a subsidiary of Home Afrika Limited, has been placed under receivership following the appointment of two receivers and managers to oversee the company’s operations and assets.
According to a Gazette Notice published in May, Ponangipalli Venkata Ramana Rao and Swaroop Rao Ponangipalli were appointed as receivers and managers effective May 16, 2025.
The move signals a major shift in the company’s leadership, with all affairs and undertakings now under the full control of the appointed receivers.
“Following the appointment, all the affairs and business of the company are being conducted by the Receivers and Managers. The powers of the Receivers and Managers extend to all assets and undertakings of the Company,” the notice read in part.
According to the notice, the powers of the company’s directors have ceased following the appointment of the receivers and managers.
All parties with claims against Mitini Scapes Development Limited have been directed to submit written claims, supported by relevant documentation, to the receivers by June 30, 2025, for registration.
Mitini Scapes Development Limited is a real estate developer operating within the prestigious Migaa Golf Estate in Kiambu County.
The company is focused on developing residential housing, specifically within the Migaa Golf Estate, where it has built a mix of apartments and cottages.
