Vivo Energy Kenya probes claims on Shell V-Power fuel quality

NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 2 – Vivo Energy Kenya has launched an investigation into social media claims questioning the quality of Shell V-Power fuel at select service stations.

In response to a viral video titled “Testing Petrol Quality in Kenya,” the company assured the public that its fuel meets strict quality standards, including Unleaded (RON 93) and Shell V-Power (RON 95), which are certified at source and undergo further testing upon arrival.

Vivo Energy Kenya emphasized that rigorous quality control measures are in place at its depots before distribution. The company is conducting independent laboratory tests and will provide updates once the review is complete.
