Havas Africa unveils e-commerce solution for brands

NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 6 – Havas Africa has launched Havas Market, a strategic full-service e-commerce offering aimed at transforming how brands engage with consumers across Africa.

The platform is designed to optimize the entire shopping journey, leveraging direct-to-consumer platforms, retailer marketplaces, and in-store purchases to drive incremental revenue and enhance the consumer experience.

“At Havas Africa, we’re not just building digital bridges; we’re crafting meaningful experiences that empower brands and communities,” said Provit Chemmani, CEO Havas Africa and Global MD CoE India.

The initiative comes as e-commerce in Africa is projected to grow by $21.5 billion (+62.19%) between 2024 and 2029, according to Statista.

Havas Market will support brands with consulting, operations, paid performance, and sales analytics, drawing from a network of experts spanning 27 countries.

Havas Africa will also release a report in January 2025 analyzing Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, providing actionable insights into consumer behavior during key shopping periods.

“Havas Market is leading the charge, empowering brands to harness retail media and drive exceptional results,” Chemmani added.

The platform officially launches today, signaling a significant investment in Africa’s e-commerce future.
