East African investment professionals to convene in Kigali

NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 28 – East African investment professionals are set to convene in Kigali, Rwanda, for the 5th Annual East Africa Investment Conference.

The meeting, which was announced by the Chartered Financial Analysts Society East Africa, is set to take place on March 28, 2024, and will bring together investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and thought leaders.

“Under the theme of unlocking the immense potential of East Africa’s investment landscape, the conference aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and sustainable development,” read a statement from CFA.

According to the CFA president, Francis Nasyomba, the conference will have a pivotal role in propelling initiatives that will serve as catalysts in the rapid economic growth of the East African Region.

“The 5th Annual CFA Society East Africa Investment Conference is a unique platform for industry professionals and decision-makers to come together. We are at a critical juncture in East Africa’s economic development, and this conference serves as a catalyst for strategic initiatives that will unlock the immense potential of the region,” he stated.

Members will engage in in-depth discussions that will be led by industry experts on navigating East Africa’s investment landscape, exploring strategic initiatives focused on innovation and investment promotion, and sustainable development.

They will also be able to connect with investors and understand the importance of intra-African trade, eliminating trade barriers, and investing in robust infrastructure for economic advancement.
