NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 25 – JamboPay and Pesalink have unveiled a partnership that enables former mobile wallet subscribers to withdraw funds into any bank account in Kenya.
The financial technology firm’s business customers can also pay suppliers, salaries, and other benefits instantly into any bank account in Kenya following the partnership.
JamboPay wallet holders can receive, hold, and make payments from cards, mobile money, other wallets, and banks.
“This partnership achieves opportunities for business owners to securely collect and make seamless payments from a single platform,” Ven Rasugu JamboPay, Head of Customer Experience, said during the partnership launch.
JamboPay is an innovative digital payments company serving over 5000 organisations and 1.2 million personal subscribers in Kenya.
It is also a licensed virtual mobile network operator.
Pesalink is a payment solution that allows for bank-to-bank transfers at a low cost and has over 36 banks in its network.
JamboPay and Pesalink are regulated by the Central Bank of Kenya.
