To many of us, St. Patricks Day is an excuse to drink beer all day! Thankfully the Irish Ambassador to Kenya, Sudan, Somalia & Eritrea, Fionnuala Quinlan, was able to explain that it’s a unique opportunity for 70million people around the world who claim links to Ireland to reconnect with their heritage. This year, in particular, they aim to bring some positivity and hope to all across the world.

We had visitors from the Association of Media Women in Kenya (AMWIK) visit the studio. AMWIK in partnership with The African Women’s Development and Communication Network (FEMNET) under the Strengthening Networks for Greater Impact (STITCH) project is seeking to engage media stakeholders in addressing sexual harassment in Kenyan media houses through policy influencing.
