Kenya is looking to share in a slice of the Sh1.2 trillion in business deals that the US-Africa Business Forum in Washington DC is expected to catalyse. The forum brings together over 300 business and government leaders from across the US and Africa in a bid to encourage economic partnership between the two continents.
Among the participants is Capital FM Chairman Chris Kirubi who is eager to, “have the right people investing in Africa.” The forum which will be graced by President Barrack Obama and Bill Clinton will examine a number of areas including infrastructure and finance.
President Uhuru Kenyatta who is leading Kenya’s delegation to the US-Africa Leaders Summit says Kenya is keen to partner with US businesses to finance its infrastructure development plans.
