The future of technology at IFA in September

BERLIN, Aug 19 – TecWatch at IFA is all about bringing consumers the latest products and news about cutting edge technologies. The platform for emerging technology and innovation will be a highlight of the 2009 IFA a tradeshow.

International Funkaustellung (IFA) is an annual trade show that presents developing technologies in modern household appliances and the digital media industry. This year, TecWatch will form a large part of the event and will include the newest Television, web and interactive media developments.

IFA TecWatch will be held in a 2,500 square meter hall adjacent to the main IFA advent where visitors will be able to see large displays and demonstrations of future, real-life technologies from companies advancing digital media and modern home appliances.

"IFA TecWatch is showing these developments right now – the innovative technological potential of the world of digital media and modern home appliances," says IFA in their press release.

Those attending IFA will also be witness to product launches from major electronics companies Philips, Sharp, Siemens, Panasonic, Miele, Loewe and Bosch.

IFA will hold keynote presentations during the event to discuss the changing directions of technology, the future standards in the world of electronics, and how companies can evolve to incorporate technological developments into their business models.

IFA 2009 is the 49th edition of the consumer electronics trade show. The yearly event is organized by the German Association for Entertainment and Communications Electronics and will be held from September 4 to 9 at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds in Germany.
