NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 14 – At least five students were killed in a 4am attack on their mixed secondary school in Lokichogio, Turkana.
Several others were injured in the early morning ambush with rapes also reported.
The motive of the attack remains speculation at this point with some reporting it as a cross-border incident with other reports pointing to a disgruntled student.
Kenya Red Cross is on scene, evacuating those in need of urgent medical treatment as are armed security personnel.
The students were in school preparing for their national exams.
