The Chop Up 10

You can serve this version of cabbage with ugali, rice or sweet potatoes.

  • This is the same position Kenyans should take. Many Kenyan families have missed out of Christmas festivities just because of the insensitivity of the Kenyan leadership. Whose purpose will this election serve when wananchi who accepted and voted for the changes are now being sidelined? Leaders must respect the wishes of their followers if the mandate to govern is derived from the citizens. We are not prepared to see families missing Christmas festivities because of elections; we don’t want to see school going kids being beaten and murdered on their way to school. August will be the best time for Kenya to hold its elections. Those advocating for december should come out in public rallies and tell the nation why december is more special than what the constitution stipulates!

I beg to differ with you two nay am i a politician nor an aspiring one.Consider this.August is the last hols for exam pupils and students.Should we interrupt the education of millions kids simply because we want an election.Suppose we do not get an outright winner. This would mean holding a run off close to re-opening of schools,is this right. If just like happened in 2007,there comes hostilities, should the kids mss their exams and postpone to the next year?.Is August long enough for the madness that is our campigns without interrupting education?…….Let’s take all this madness to December. At least the holiday is long enough to last our fights and still reorganise ourselves for the new year.
