Simple home remedies for soft, happy feet

Dry, cracked feet are a ghastly sight  and living in some parts of Nairobi doesn’t make it any easier for your feet. We were all born with soft feet and then dust happened. It is called when dust happens to good ol’ soft feet. Wearing sandals over prolonged periods of time is a no-no! Why? Because cracks will replace your feet. You are lucky if you are always in socks and closed shoes as you perambulate around town.

Feet should be clean, soft and attractive so if you happen to suffer from dry, beat up, cracked up feet here are some home remedies to help you get your feet all soft, cute and happy.

Banana or papaya puree – Blend overripe bananas  or papaya in a blender. Apply the paste on your feet and allow it to sit for about 15 minutes. Clean thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Listerine, vinegar and warm water combo- Mix a quarter cup of Listerine, a quarter cup of vinegar and one cup of warm water. Soak your feet in  for 15minutes.

Lemon and apple cider vinegar foot soak- Mix 10 cups of lukewarm water, one cup of apple cider vinegar, half a cup of salt and two freshly squeezed lemon. Soak your feet for about fifteen minutes then use a foot stone to scrub off dead skin.

Sliced pieces of lemons, half a cup of honey, half a cup of vinegar apple cider. Mix them together with 10 glasses of lukewarm in a basin water  well then get ten glasses of water in a basin, soak your feet for 15-20min then apply olive oil.

Candle wax, coconut oil combo :Heat paraffin wax with some coconut oil to make a smooth paste.Apply that on clean feet just before going to bed then put on some fresh clean socks.
