Those who bagged Kalashas

Pomp, glamour, talented actors and actresses, big personalities, fashion galore are just a few of the good stuff that eyes could devour at the third edition Kalasha Film and Tv Awards gala that was held at the Carnivore last Friday.

The Kalasha Film and TV Awards have been designed to allow Kenyans to celebrate their cultural diversity through film and recognize the role of film in economic sustainability. The Awards seek to motivate local producers towards quality film and TV productions. The event is organized by Kenya Film Commission, whose mandate is to develop and promote the local film industry.

The Rugged Priest was the biggest winner of the night as it bagged 6 awards among them Best Director, Best Feature, and even the Best actress.
