China’s HLA Group opens first fashion brand store in Nairobi

NAIROBI, Kenya, Sept 4 – China’s Helian Fashion Brands (HLA Group) has launched its first fashion retail outlet in Kenya with the opening of a store at The Hub Karen in Nairobi.

The Jiangsu Province-based retailer, which sells blazers, jackets, coats, shirts, pants, jeans, shoes, and other accessories, said the move represents its entry into the Kenyan market as part of its wider international expansion.

“We are delighted to open our doors at The Hub Karen, one of Nairobi’s premier lifestyle destinations,” said Ronnie Wee, HLA Manager, Advertising & Promotions.

“Our mission always holds that fashion is necessary for daily life and [HLA has] devoted itself to providing fashionable design, high-quality products, and excellent shopping experience for men all over the world. We look forward to welcoming the Karen community and beyond to experience the HLA difference.”

Founded in 2002, Helian Group has grown to over 5,000 stores across China, Southeast Asia, and Japan. The Nairobi outlet is the first in Africa.

“With HLA’s opening, The Hub Karen continues to expand its offering of world-class retail experiences, creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for families, professionals, and visitors from across Nairobi and beyond,” The Hub Karen said in a statement.
