NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 11 – Standard Chartered Bank has partnered with Qatar Airways to offer Kenya’s affluent travellers premium travel discounts, aiming at customers seeking world-class travel experiences alongside financial services.
Affluent flyers will now access collective offers of up to 32% discounts, including 12% off Qatar Airways flights, 10% off Qatar Holidays, and 10% through the Qatar Airways Student Club.
Customers also earn 4,000 Privilege Club points and enjoy enhanced Standard Chartered Visa card benefits such as triple reward points for online bookings, complimentary access to over 1,200 global airport lounges, and travel insurance coverage of up to USD 2.5 million.

Kenya’s pool of High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs) is expanding, with 6,800 individuals worth at least USD 1 million (Sh129.2 million), according to the June 2025 Henley & Partners Wealth Report.
Projections show the number of dollar millionaires in the country could rise by 65% over the next decade.
