NAIROBI, Kenya, Sept 25 – Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 15 in Kenya, introducing what it describes as its largest smartphone battery in the global market at 7,000mAh.
The device features a 6.9-inch FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Atmos® speakers with up to 200% volume boost, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon® 685 processor built on a 6nm process.
It comes in two variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage at KSh17,999 and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage at KSh19,999. Both include expandable storage up to 2TB and run on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.
Other features include 33W fast charging, reverse charging capability, IP64 dust and water resistance, and a 50MP dual AI rear camera.
The Redmi 15 is available in Sandy Purple, Titan Gray, and Midnight Black, through Xiaomi partner stores and e-commerce platforms including Jumia and Kilimall.
