East Africa Fashion Life Show Expands, Eyes Regional Growth

NAIROBI, Kenya, June 21 – The East Africa (Kenya) Fashion Life Show returned to the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi, marking its second edition from June 19–21 with an expanded footprint, more exhibitor categories, and a growing ambition to become East Africa’s leading lifestyle consumer goods platform.

Organized by Afripeak Expo (Kenya) Ltd, the 2025 event builds on the momentum of its 2024 debut, which attracted nearly 3,000 professional buyers from across the region, including Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

This year’s exhibition features over 70 exhibitors from China and Kenya, with product categories now covering apparel, home décor, beauty and personal care, consumer electronics, and for the first time, cosmetics and wigs.

Speaking at the official opening, Gao Wei, Managing Director of Afripeak Expo Kenya, emphasized the significance of the show’s growth.

“Following the great success of our inaugural show in 2024, which received warm participation from exhibitors, buyers, and fashion lovers across the region, we are proud to return this year with a bigger, broader, and even more exciting edition,” Gao said.

He noted that the exhibition’s value extends beyond commerce.

“This exhibition also celebrates cultural creativity. By incorporating design elements that transcend time and space, we demonstrate how diversity can inspire beauty and bring meaningful change to modern lifestyles.”

The 2025 show showcases nine major product sectors and includes new zones tailored to evolving consumer preferences in East Africa. A key highlight this year is the strong presence of Chinese beauty and wig manufacturers, offering African importers direct access to global supply chains.

Cultural exchange was also part of the agenda, with performances by the Confucius Institute at Moi University, symbolizing deepening ties between Africa and Asia.

Dubbed by observers as “Africa’s most promising consumer goods export platform,” the East Africa Fashion Life Show has set its sights on regional expansion into Uganda and Tanzania in the near future.
