NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 31 – Java is set to reach 100 regional branches by the first quarter of 2025 as part of its strategy to bring services closer to customers.
Recently, three new outlets were opened, including one at Thika’s Vivo Energy, marking Java’s 95th location in the region.
The second outlet, a Java Express in Kenol, Murang’a County, became the 96th, while the third opened at Kisumu Airport, bringing the company closer to its target.
Java House Group CEO Priscilla Gathungu emphasized that this expansion reflects the company’s commitment to increasing accessibility and community engagement.
“For each branch, we recruit nearly 30 staff from local communities, contributing to job creation,” Gathungu stated.
As part of its 25th-anniversary celebrations, Java has been expanding its footprint, with new branches in Voi, Lang’ata, Loresho, Kenol, and Kisumu in Kenya, as well as Muyenga and Najjera in Kampala, Uganda.
The company is also deepening its investment in community initiatives through partnerships with Food For Education and the World Food Programme and by sponsoring national volleyball teams.
