NAIROBI, Kenya, July 5 – Tatu City and Standard Chartered will, on Saturday, July 13, 2024, host the official warm-up run for the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon.
With race distances of 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km, the full-day event caters to runners of all abilities.
The race village will also feature a variety of entertainment, including live music performances by top Kenyan artists, a kid’s zone with fun activities, and a food and drink area offering a wide range of refreshments.
With high-value prizes from Platinum sponsor Dr. Mattress, the event is expected to attract thousands of runners, families, and friends ahead of the main Nairobi Marathon, which will take place on October 27, 2024.

With prizes worth over Sh1.5 million, participants can win across a wide variety of categories, including the top three fastest runners across all distances, the best-represented running club, the most lively group, and the youngest and oldest running participants.
