Printcare picks ALP West Logistics Park for its Kenyan manufacturing, packing plant

NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 15 – Printcare has picked ALP West Logistics Park in Limuru, Kenya, for the setup of its manufacturing and packaging plant.

The new facility, which is set to start operations in April next year, will adhere to European Union (EU) compliance standards.

The group has diversified into beverage, pharamaceuticals, apparel, and FMCG, among others, with a presence in India and Sri Lanka.

Its entry into Kenya comes at a time when the packaging industry is set to grow until 2026 by nearly five percent.

“We chose ALP West Logistics Park for its strategic location and commitment to international quality construction, aligning perfectly with our stringent EU compliance requirements,” said Prashantha Dias, Director, Printcare Packaging East Africa Ltd.

“ALP’s strategic positioning and dedication to maintaining top-tier infrastructure suit our global operational needs. This decision empowers us to establish a cutting-edge facility in Kenya, ensuring efficient operations while meeting the highest international benchmarks,” Dias added.

The park’s strategic location, the firm said, positions it as the go-to destination for businesses seeking efficient and cutting-edge logistics solutions.

The facility will comprise 100,000 m2 of Grade A warehousing space on 49 acres of zoned and serviced land.

“The selection of our park by a globally recognized company like Printcare underlines the quality and strategic advantages our facilities offer,” expressed Richard Hough, CEO at Africa Logistics Properties. “ALP remains dedicated to surpassing compliance criteria, ensuring our partners operate at the highest international standards.”
