EPRA cuts petrol prices by Sh5, diesel Sh2, and kerosene Sh4.01

NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 14 – The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has reduced the cost of petrol by Sh5, diesel by Sh2, and kerosene by Sh4.01.
A liter of the product will now cost Sh212.36 (petrol), Sh201.47 (diesel), and Sh199.45 (kerosene) in Nairobi.
The drop comes after the average cost of imported super petrol decreased by 16.11 percent from $827.75 per cubic metre in October 2023 to $694.44 per cubic metre last month.
While diesel fell by 5.43 percent to $826.01 per cubic metre, kerosene decreased by 6.63 percent to $813.90.
This offers reprieve to Kenyans who have been complaining of high fuel costs that have pushed up inflation.
