Glovo, Quickmart in a deal to bolster customer experience

NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 22 – Quickmart and Glovo have entered into a partnership to bolster the customer experience when shopping.

With the new partnership, customers will be provided with a catalogue to choose from with up to 6,000 products from Quickmart.

The products include a wide array of items, including offerings from the deli (Q-cafe) and branch-specific promotions that will be delivered to customers within an hour after the order is placed.

“Quickmart is constantly looking for ways to deliver innovative services that make customers’ daily shopping experience easier. Leveraging Glovo’s global and local expertise in the quick commerce industry, we believe this partnership will offer fast and convenient home delivery service that allows us to address our customers’ needs in the digital age,” said Quickmart managing director Duncan Kinuthia.

On her part, Glovo Kenya Head of Q-Commerce Elizabeth Mbugua opined that collaboration will go a long way in ensuring that customers not only get services faster but also make their experience better.

“To deliver on our vision, we seek partnerships with top retailers with stores widespread across our active locations. Our goal is to make grocery shopping faster, smoother and more convenient than ever before for the customer,” she said.

The partnership covers all 12 cities where Glovo is active, with plans to expand to other cities in the coming months.
