NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 19 – Safaricom has scooped twelve awards in Marketing Society of Kenya Awards Gala including overall marketing company of the year.
The company also won the best brand implementation and distribution strategy for Maisha ni M-PESA Tu campaign, Best sports marketing campaign for Chapa Dimba Na Safaricom and Best New product launch for Jitambulishe.
In addition, the Telco also won awards in runners-up for Twaweza Live, 2nd runners-up for This is My Kenya campaign, 2nd runners-up for Funtastic 4Gs campaign and 2nd runners-up for This is My Kenya in the best Digital campaign category.

Safaricom was also named the best brand in excellence in Branding Superbrands East Africa awards 1st Runners-up for the industrial, commercial and services category at the FiRe awards which seek to promote and recognize excellence in financial reporting among entities in the East African region.
