There’s something almost therapeutic about leaving behind Nairobi’s restless energy—the honking cars, hurried footsteps, concrete jungle, and swirling dust and slipping into the rolling embrace of Tigoni, one of my favorite places.
Tigoni is one of those picturesque small towns where buildings surrender to lush greenery, endless tea fields stretch into the horizon, and the air turns cool and crisp. It’s the kind of place that makes you pause, breathe, and marvel at Kenya’s beauty, a hidden gem that quietly takes your breath away. I think Magical Kenya Team needs to showcase more of this town in various campaigns for Tembea Kenya.

A week earlier, an invitation had landed in my inbox: the launch of Snapp Dry Cider, set against the stunning backdrop of Naiposha Gardens, one of the most talked-about venues on socials. That was all the persuasion I needed. A long brunch, a scenic escape, and an experience designed to connect and celebrate women? It was an easy yes.
And so, on this particular Sunday afternoon, I dressed for the occasion—an airy blue shirt, green shorts with intricate details, a pair of fresh sneakers, and Burberry sunglasses. Excitement crackled in the air as I stepped out, ready for the little road trip ahead. With every passing mile, the city faded behind me, and anticipation grew with the promise of what lay ahead: Snapp Socials, an exclusive event series designed to foster a sense of community among women. This was the official launch of Snapp Dry Cider, a refined and bold addition to the EABL portfolio, crafted to cater to evolving consumer preferences.

The road to the venue wound past vast tea plantations, endless waves of green stretching across the hills, their neatly trimmed rows resembling brushstrokes on a living canvas. Women in bright headscarves moved through the fields, baskets balanced on their backs, carefully plucking tender tea leaves. The air here was different—cooler, fresher, scented with earth and the faint, sweet aroma of tea.
A little farther ahead, a shimmering lake appeared, its still waters mirroring the sky. Man-made yet perfectly at home in this landscape, it added to the serenity, as if nature itself had conspired to make this place a sanctuary. For a moment, I wanted to stop, step out, and let the quiet wash over me. But the journey wasn’t over yet. I kept thinking: I could have my wedding right here… well, if only dreams came true.
Past the lake, the road bent, and then, there it was. Naiposha Gardens. Nestled amidst towering trees, its lush green lawns stretched wide, an oasis of elegance and charm. The setting for this grand affair: the launch of Snapp Socials, a long brunch experience designed to celebrate, connect, and inspire women.

Naiposha was a vision, a scene so perfectly curated. The entire space was draped in lush greenery, mirroring the rolling tea fields beyond and blending seamlessly into the natural beauty of Tigoni. The lake in the backdrop shimmered under the soft afternoon light, casting dreamy reflections that made every glance feel like a page from a storybook.
The layout was thoughtfully designed to offer two distinct experiences. On one side, an elegant sit-down dining area, where guests lounged at beautifully adorned tables, sipping and savoring in effortless style. Across the field, a laid-back picnic setup, with flowing drapery and cozy seating, invited guests to sink into relaxation, soaking in the ambiance at their own pace.

The energy was magnetic, buzzing with the hum of conversation, the occasional pop of a bottle being opened, and the rhythmic beats floating from the main stage. Food vendors lined the sides, offering an array of delectable bites, while bars stood ready to keep the drinks flowing—everything designed to give the perfect, indulgent brunch experience.
I sank into my VIP-reserved couch, positioned right at the front with the best view of it all. Almost instantly, a chilled six-pack of Snapp Dry Cider landed in front of me, condensation glistening on the bottles—the perfect temperature, just begging to be cracked open. I took a moment to soak it all in, snapping a few Instagram stories, capturing the vibe before the event officially kicked off.
And then, as I looked around, I realized—this was a gathering of familiar faces. Influencers, media personalities, friends, acquaintances, and consumers all effortlessly stylish, dressed in shades of green that blended beautifully with the setting. It was more than just a color theme; it was an unspoken statement, a nod to the brand, the environment, and the spirit of the day—fresh, vibrant, and full of life.

And then, the energy shifted into high gear.
Musicians Njerae and Charisma took to the stage first, their soulful performances setting a smooth, captivating tone. As the day melted into the evening, the tempo built, leading into electrifying DJ sets from Andre, CNG, Sir M, Ite, and Redbone.

Angela Wambui and June Gachui commanded the stage with effortless charm, their dynamic hosting ensuring every moment felt like a shared celebration of feminine energy and camaraderie.
But beyond the music and revelry, this day was about indulgence—effortless, elegant, and completely immersive.

As the night deepened and the music soared, one thing was clear—this was more than just the launch of a new drink. It was a statement, a moment, a movement. Snapp Socials had arrived, and with it, a new era of brunching—bold, beautiful, and unforgettable.
