This gal needs a baptism of fire to bring out the best in her…..Makueni reject her! that will make her a better candidate in 2017 with proven record. Make her prove herself. She’s being prodded along like a cash cow going to the marketplace. Can the REAL Kethi please stand up? All the brouhaha about her being a brilliant lawyer is all hogwash. Which cases has she won? Name them.

May be you dont live in Kenya. But since she distanced herself from your favored party, certainly you are not happy. Of course, your wishes would be dismissed by Makueni people as wicked ones. You are certainly among that group which hoped she would have been disqualified from running. Unknown to you, being the fine lawyer she is, she had done her homework very well indeed. She WILL get more votes than all other candidates combined. President Uhuru and his deputy should just spare themselves embarrassment by avoiding to campaign directly for their jubilee candidate, Prof. Kaloki. A candidate who went for governship while he wasnt going to retain his parliamentary seat anyway. Things havent changed an inch. And now that, in our highly tribalized politics, he is likely to be seen as anti-community candidate, his chances are practically nil.

Thanks Kwessi for the update that is, unfortunately, no update. Kethi needs to make Kethi known. Who is Kethi? Mutula’s daughter? That is the most silly reason to vote for a senator. She has no touch with Makueni at all. That’s why she never voted for her late Dad. Her registration was elsewhere. In my opinion, the law erred in allowing her to vie for a place she wasn’t registered as a voter. What will stop someone equally registered in one place from voting in another place? This is a dangerous precedent unless we amend the law and make it more clearer on this particular issue. As for Kaloki, he has something to work with; his resume. Kethi has none safe her dad’s. What a pathetic candidate she is!

Hey! am still waiting to hear of any quality cases she has ever won apart from that below par performance after the elections.

I have been reading and listening to all Kenyan print and tv media but I have not heard a word on the qualifications of a senate candidate. Can somebody explain to me whether you can be elected anywhere in Kenya so long as you are registered “somewhere”. This constitution must be a phony if it can allow a turkana registered voter to run for an elective post in nyeri.

Not bad reasoning. When technology fail, life continues. Resorting to manual seems a natural step.
