There’s no denying that Mathew Knowles is behind one of the most respected, talented and successful females artists in the music industry, Beyonce Knowles, so it only makes sense if he was to offer a crash course on how to make it in the industry, right?

The 63 year old business man left his successful career in sales of office and medical equipment decades ago to focus on the music industry. He managed the award-winning girl group, Destiny’s Child, and later focused on Beyonce’s solo career as well her sister’s, Solange Knowles.

Beyonce: Beyond The Red Carpet

Matthew will be holding the day long boot camp titled The Entertainment Industry: How Do I Get In? at Houston Community College where he will provide attendees with useful insider knowledge on the music industry which can be difficult to crack. Advanced payment will cost $295 per person while enrolling at the door will cost you $350.

Matthew notes, “I’ve been in the music and entertainment business more than 20 years and I know how it works. I am able to save someone  who wants to know what to do to get in a lot of legwork and time… time that it took me years to learn.”

Even though Mathew is no longer managing Beyonce due to a fall out a few years back, there’s no denying that the star-making producer and music executive knows – or should we say Knowles – his way round the industry.

The day long boot camp will be held  on September 13.
