Cece is indeed a case of a calling well pursued as her Mezzo-Soprano voice moved many, not leaving behind Bishop Margaret Wanjiru who could not cut back tears of joy and praise.

Ida Odinga, Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s wife, and Ferdinand Waititu, the M.P for Embakasi were also present, and so were D.J Pinye, Achieng Abura and Wahu.

The event was curtain raised by Kambua performing ‘Nishikilie,’ Alice Kamande singing ‘Wewe pekee’, Jemimah Thiong’o of the hit song ‘Mwenye Baraka.’ and Neema Ntalel belted out a couple of her best picks.

The stunning Mercy Masika also put the crowd on their feet, dancing to her all time favourite, ‘Milele.’ Tusker project fame’s sweetheart Elizabeth Gaga also gave the crowd a huge surprise as she performed a cordial hymn, Hallelujah.

Keeping the programme in line were Big Tedd and R-kay who emceed throughout the event.
