Inbound flights scheduled for Wilson diverted to JKIA due to bad weather

NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep – Incoming flights to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport were on Tuesday rerouted to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport owing to bad weather.

Safarilink, a Kenyan operator with regular flights to domestic and regional destination, said air traffic controllers were monitoring the situation before allowing resumption of normal operations.

Temperatures in had fallen below 17 degrees centigrade with visibility reduced to about 900m.
