We are slowly but surely (and most importantly, safely) opening up our lives to the outside world again. If the only thing you are sure of is that you want a good evening out filled with wine, then Harvest, at Trademark is the place to go.
Every Wednesday, Harvest will be hosting ‘Winesday’, a weekly wine tasting experience that will have a sommelier guide you through the multi sensorial experience from the combination of wine and food.
Whether you’re a connoisseur or a casual enthusiast, the 3-wine-pairing suits all interests and will give you a chance to learn about the wide world of wine and help you select the perfect bottle of wine next time you’re out to dinner with friends.
Sampled this week was: The Veuve Ambal Blanc De Blanc, a sparkling wine from France. A blend of Chardonnay and Aligote from Burgundy and aged for 18 months. Perfect wine for sipping on a hot day.
Chablis, Prosper Maufoux, 2018: a lovely chardonnay from Burgundy with notes of apple and lemon. The sip is crisp making it a perfect wine to pair with creamy pasta or light chicken dishes.
Sancerre 2019, Hubert Brochard: a young, medium bodied french wine with a pale lemon colour and high acidity.
It is also not advisable to sip on an empty stomach so sit back, relax , enjoy a live set and accompany your wine exploration with dinner.
