Kenya Breweries Limited Unveils “IT’S A WRAP” Festive Campaign

Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) officially launched its highly anticipated festive season campaign, “IT’S A WRAP,” aiming to inspire consumers to celebrate triumphs and rekindle connections with loved ones amidst challenging economic times.

The campaign features eight premium brands, including Johnnie Walker, Gilbeys, Smirnoff TM, Singleton, Tanqueray, Gordons, Black and White, and Don Julio.

Jean Okech, Head of Marketing, Spirit, EABL, expressed excitement about offering consumers a unique and extraordinary campaign to wrap up the year in grand style.

“It’s about rekindling connections with family and friends, honoring triumphs amidst a notably challenging economic year for most Kenyans. The Christmas season symbolizes anticipation—anticipation for cherished gifts, joyful moments, and celebrations. Our campaign aims to infuse these moments with an extraordinary spark,” she said.

The campaign introduces a vibrant festive catalogue, featuring discounted prices on participating brands. Consumers can access these exclusive deals through Ke.thebar.com, the E-Commerce platform, as well as social media platforms of the participating brands and KBL’s official websites. Additionally, Soiree packages tailored for both individual and corporate gatherings are available, complete with options for DJs and mixologists to enhance the festive experience.

As part of the campaign, KBL is offering custom-made wrap papers, available at all KBL pop-up stores and outlets selling gift packs. This addition aims to elevate the festive experience, allowing consumers to personalize their gift hampers.

In a unique initiative, KBL is incorporating seedling packs into all gift packs, aligning with their commitment to environmental sustainability. By encouraging consumers to participate in tree planting, the company hopes to inspire a collective effort toward a greener and more sustainable future.

KBL has partnered with “Tis the Season,” an annual Christmas Concert directed by Atemi Oyungu, to celebrate Christmas moments with family and friends. The concert is scheduled to take place at the Junction Mall from December 8th to 10th.

During the festive season campaign launch event on November 17th, Mark Ocitti, KBL Managing Director, highlighted the challenging economic year but emphasized the resilience of Kenyans and the need for celebration. He noted positive achievements such as promotions, graduations, and completed projects, which are the focus of the “IT’S A WRAP” campaign.

Ocitti expressed KBL’s commitment to community and environmental well-being, emphasizing the inclusion of seedling packs in gift packs to encourage consumers to actively participate in supporting their environmental agenda through tree planting.
