Did you know you can unlock your car with your brain?

Have you ever lost your car keys in a parking lot? Maybe you’ve roamed a little too far and your keys no longer are in range with your car – what do you do?

The central locking device uses electromagnetic waves. The further you walk away from the car, the weaker the signal. But as Professor Roger Bowley of The University of Nottingham explains in the video below, you can increase the range of the device if you place the car keys by your head.

A human brain is mostly water, and thanks to that, the body of water acts as an amplifier and is able to extend the range of waves emitting from your car keys.

Watch Professor Roger Bowley unlock his car from various distances, using waves from his key, brain and a big bottle of water below. This will blow your mind.
