Kenyans go to the polls on Monday from 6am to 6pm and despite the obscenely long lines, most of them are happy to be able to take part in shaping the country’s future.
As you vote today and then start the wait to usher in the next leadership, you can sample on a touching song from the unlikely duo of Nameless and Burundian heartthrob Kidum.
The song, Haki Yetu, was released last Thursday, urging Kenyans to vote as one and with a common bond.
Written by Kevin Samuel and produced by R Kay, aka Robert Kamanzi, the song is expressly intended to ‘deliver a message of peace’.
