Former President Emilio Mwai Kibaki has today (22.04.2022) died at the age of 90.

Kibaki served as Kenya’s third president from 2002 to April 2013. Since leaving office, Kibaki has been in and out of the hospital due to multiple health complications and old age.

President Uhuru Kenyatta eulogized the late leader saying, “President Kibaki will forever be remembered as a gentleman in Kenyan politics. He was a brilliant debater, whose eloquence wit, and charm won the day, time and time again.”

The former President will be remembered for his great leadership, policies, and his witty remarks while making speeches at various state functions. Here are some of those hilarious quotes.

Kibaki is survived by four children Judy Wanjiku, Jimmy Kibaki, David Kagi and Tony Githinji.
