Rapper Cardi B posted an old video of former President Kibaki addressing the nation and Kenyans on Twitter cannot keep calm.
The video clip that dates back to 2003 shows Kenya’s second president Mwai Kibaki and the late second Kenyan First Lady Mama Lucy Kibaki in what is evidently a tense situation. Kibaki is addressing journalists in a presser, making it clear that he is only married to one woman, none other than Mama Lucy.
“I want to state something that I have wanted you to hold dearly and permanently in your heart. You know, I know and everybody else knows that I’m married and I have only one wife and everyone knows it. I want to make it very clear that I have only one dear wife, Lucy, who is here. And I do not have any other, ask any question I will reply,” He asserts.
Mama Lucy then authoritatively tells journalists to ask any questions, or never ask again if they do not make do with that opportunity.
How the Bodak Yellow rapper got hold of the video is still not known, but exhilarated Kenyans flocked her Twitter page, giving her the context of the video.
This is not the first time a Kenyan video has gone viral and captured the attention of celebrities.
Last week, an old video of comedian Eric Omondi and dancer Shirleyne Anyango depicting how people have sex in movies got a new life after American rapper Snoop Dogg posted it.
His fellow celebrity friends like singer and billionaire Rihanna couldn’t help but comment under the video.
Eric then joked if the likes of Snoop and Rihanna are taking notice of his talents, he would be flying to the US to propose marriage to the ‘Umbrella’ singer.
