The Coronavirus pandemic has the world at home and many are turning to live streams for entertainment.
Global boredom has millions of social media users trying to bring any sort of excitement to their lives, from deejay live streams to twerk-streams, everything goes.
Canadian rapper Tory Lanez has taken the pandemic and his large social media following in stride and created a movement.
In his ‘Quarantine Radio’ live stream, Lanez offers a VIP seat at an online strip club. VIP guests, music, high energy, alcohol, money and twerk sessions are the order of the night.
The 27 year old garners an average of 200,000 viewers on his live stream that features female viewers shaking their behinds in their panties for a few seconds and the best twerkers make money off it.
The livestream also attracts a number of celebrities including Chris Brown, Ace hood, Wiz Khalifa, Jah Cure, Konshens, Fat Joe, Popcaan, Anitta and more. Previously the Canadian rapper has featured rappers Drake and French Montana.
Tory Lanez and Quarantine Radio are some of the top trending topics on Twitter around the world including Nairobi.
In his latest ‘Quarantine Radio’ live session on Thursday (02.04.2020) Tory dropped his new single ‘Who Needs Love’ off his upcoming album dubbed ‘New Toronto 3′ dropping on April 10th 2020.
However due to the nature of the content shown in the livestream and the crazy numbers, Instagram tried to keep the adult entertainment in check and finally after a couple of interruptions, Lanez called it quits on his latest ‘Quarantine Radio’ video till Monday.
Here in Kenya, two girls who recently featured on Tory Lanez’ livestream got the attention of Kenyans on Twitter after their less than impressive twerking which ultimately meant that they failed fellow Kenyans.
Do you think Tory Lanez has gone too far or this is the new normal of adult entertainment on social media?
