Konde Boy Harmonize redeems himself with ‘Kainama’ visuals

The Wasafi crew have delivered yet again, redeeming Harmonize after receiving poor reviews of his EP Afro Bongo.

The trio of Harmonize, Diamond Platnumz and Naija act Burna Boy is a sure recipe for success. Konde Boy delivers great visuals and a heavy beat to uplift an otherwise simple track. With an upbeat tempo and easy lyrics, the song is infectious, making it easy to sing along and bend over to. The track which is part of Harmonize’s newly released EP “Afro Bongo” is among 5 tracks released by the Tanzanian star. The most surprising aspect of the track is hearing Burna singing in Swahili. Known for his distinct afro-fusion sound, Burna adds a distinct flair to this track as Platnumz takes the lead, leaving Harmonize in the backseat.

The audio release that was criticized for lacking that characteristic Wasafi factor, has now been compensated for with the release of this track. According to The Sauce,  the EP will see the second track ‘Show Me What You Got’ featuring top Nigerian songstress Yemi Alade, from Konde Boy then there is ‘Tepete’ with ‘Uncle London’ Mr.Eazi. The last and final release is a solo track titled “Niteke” that was previously announced as a collabo with Tanzanian artist Sarah.

Harmonize is signed to Wasafi Records, and just released his first EP dubbed ‘Afro Bongo’. ‘Kainama’ is the first release from the highly anticipated EP, and has garnered nearly 500,000 views just days after its release.
