Popular Kenyan rapper King Kaka has addressed the swirling gossip about a possible separation from his wife, Nana Owiti.
The rumours intensified when Nana Owiti, an enthusiastic Arsenal fan, was spotted enjoying the soccer scene in the UK, frequently sharing her London adventures on social media. Observers quickly speculated that she had left her marital home, with some even alleging she falsified immigration documents and took their children with her.

Adding fuel to the fire, King Kaka’s Mother’s Day tribute to his mother conspicuously omitted any mention of Nana, further stoking the flames of speculation.
King Kaka has now publicly addressed these rumours, strongly denying any suggestion of using his family for publicity ahead of his film series, ‘Monkey Business,’ premiering on May 17, 2024.
“I don’t clout chase, especially when it comes to family. Neither does Nana. I wasn’t even planning to address this, but since it’s about family, I must. I know people get excited with content creation and spreading falsehoods,” he stated.
He also debunked the “death certificate” rumours, urging content creators to act responsibly and consider the impact of spreading false narratives on the individuals involved.
“Nana is in the country, and the kids are attending school as usual. I’m baffled by where these stories are coming from. Let’s be mindful of the many people affected by fake stories. Let’s create content but not destroy something good,” King Kaka added.
