Hits Not Homework debuts new team amid controversy

Hits Not Homework is a Capital FM show that airs between 7-10pm that has enjoyed long-standing success thanks to its celebrated roster of former presenters including Eve De Souza, Joey Muthengi, and most recently Soulo and Amina Abdi-Rabar.

The show marked a new era on Monday, 23rd January 2018, as Hits Not Homework unveiled its new crew!

The popular radio show breathes new life with Tracy Wanjiru and Anne Mwaura, the winners of The Capital One talent search. They underwent intense training at Capital FM for a couple of weeks, shadowing radio producers and being mentored by presenters at the station.

The Capital One judge Anita Nderu, named one of BBC’s top 100 influential women in the world and popular youth mentor, also joins the talented duo and brings her radio and media experience to the table to help ease Tracy and Anne into their new roles.

Thanks to overwhelming responses and online applications, many talented people were also discovered; among them was Jo Kisila, a model and deejay. Capital could not turn away such talent, so Jo now joins the Hits Not Homework team as a producer and a Capital FM Mixmaster.
