Fox News TV personality Emily Compagno has ruffled the collective feathers of KOT after claims she made on a live broadcast on the network.
The attorney-cum-media practitioner who hosts several shows on the network, appeared on one of the shows dubbed ‘Gutfeld!’
Compagno and other panelists were speaking about how Americans complained over limited rights to vote on July 4. In her quest to emphasize her point, she compared the US to Kenya, claiming pregnant women natives of the latter have ‘no constructive rights to vote,’ before further comparing US women to those in Oman who have to vote as their husbands wish lest they are killed.
Kenyans have not taken her assertion lightly, given its misleading and inaccurate nature. Factually, pregnant women, disabled and old persons are prioritized during voting and do not queue while other people do.
Here are KOT reactions to Compagno’s uninformed remarks:
Before @EmilyCompagno apologizing to our mothers, sisters, and grandmothers from Kenya she must first identify Kenya on the world map. Or tell us which Kenya she was reffering to. pic.twitter.com/hUFlmSm6PU

@EmilyCompagno Which Kenya were you talking about? Here in Kenya pregnant women and women carrying children vote before others.

"Which Kenya" just a regular day someone failed to do their homework. On the contrary, voters wish they'd be pregnant or elderly just to get the first priority.
