Effervescent Elegance & A Toast To Soft Life: Inside Moët & Chandon’s Grand Party in Nairobi

From royal court to red carpet, Studio 54 to Grand Slams, Moët & Chandon has been bringing people together around thrilling, extraordinary moments. With the largest, most diverse vineyards in the region, the House offers a universal & versatile portfolio of champagnes for every occasion and palate. Every glass overflows with the House’s hallmark values of history, generosity, savoir-faire, success, boldness and elegance—values still at the heart of its global appeal.

On the third Friday of October each year, Moët & Chandon hosts its annual glittering Grand Day, a day of sparkling celebrations around the globe where friends and guests of the Champagne House come together to raise their glasses in a worldwide toast to the memorable moments that bring joy to their lives.

In Nairobi Kenya, the annual event was held at the Tribe Hotel, a luxury boutique hotel in Nairobi located in the heart of Nairobi’s sophisticated Gigiri district, adjacent to The Village Market. No one in Kenya throws a grand lavish party like Moet and Chandon. The highly anticipated invite-only Glamorous Dress Party saw guests who included some of Kenya’s best dressed personalities arrive in a dazzling array of outfits, each one more extravagant and elegant than the last. The women were dressed in elegant gowns while the men arrived in tailored suits and tuxedos, for a night of opulence and glamour.

Inside, a breathtaking scene unfolded. Every element, from the lavish décor to the warm and inviting ambiance, bathed in a golden glow, casting a radiant and enchanting shimmer throughout the space, creating a luxurious and unforgettable experience. And as laughter and conversations filled the air, champagne flowed freely, throughout the evening. Toasts were made at 20:23, appropriately honoring Moët & Chandon’s milestone 280th anniversary this year since its founding in Epernay, France, in 1743.

Moët & Chandon continues to be cherished and celebrated across the globe for its timeless elegance and unwavering commitment to excellence. With a rich history dating back over two centuries, Moët & Chandon has become synonymous with luxury, celebration, and the art of crafting exceptional champagne. It is not just a beverage; it’s an experience of elegance and sophistication.
