The expansive grounds of Muthaiga Golf Club came alive on Friday, November 29, 2024, as over 230 golfers from across East Africa gathered for the much-anticipated NCBA Golf Series Grand Finale Celebratory Dinner. The air was electric with excitement as guests, dressed in the event’s chic black-and-white theme, entered a stunning marquee tent adorned with elegant black-and-white decor. Chandeliers hung gracefully overhead, casting a soft, golden glow, adding a touch of finesse to the setup.

This event marked the grand conclusion of the 2024 NCBA Golf Series, which spanned 34 tournaments across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda, bringing together over 3,000 golfers. And what better way to end the season than with a reception worthy of the tournament’s prestige: an evening of music, entertainment, and celebration.
NCBA Group Managing Director John Gachora captured the spirit of the evening during the prize-giving ceremony, saying, “The NCBA Golf Series is more than just a tournament; it is a celebration of talent, community, and the enduring spirit of golf. We are proud to have hosted over 3,000 golfers this year and to have extended the Series to four East African countries. Congratulations to all the winners for their remarkable achievements, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this journey possible.”
He added, “At NCBA, we believe in the transformative power of golf—not just as a game but as a platform for building relationships, developing talent, and driving positive change. We are committed to supporting this sport and the communities it serves, and we look forward to an even brighter future for golf in East Africa.”

As the evening unfolded, guests were treated to a sumptuous dinner featuring an exquisite selection of dishes, enjoyed under the warm glow of chandeliers as lively conversations filled the marquee. After the last course was served, the much-anticipated awards ceremony took center stage. Gleaming trophies were handed out to the night’s champions, each accolade met with cheers and applause, celebrating the remarkable performances of the season’s top golfers.
