Long gone are the days when only women were expected to show up and dress well. Today’s man is not to be left behind. He is putting in effort and cleaning up really good. In the words of Tom Ford, “Dressing well is a form of good manners.”
Dressing up not only makes you look fresh and clean but it also makes you look presentable, approachable and well put together. And I dare say, why not? It’s about being tidy as well as smartly dressed. A suit that fits increases your confidence and makes you look good.

On Sunday 6th March 2022, Sprezzatura Kenya, a style and networking outfit, together with Brick Cigars Kenya, put together an afternoon of food, drinks and entertainment and most importantly a day to suit up, dress up and show up. A few ladies were not to be left behind, coming to show their support to the men who cleaned up real good.

According to Fredrick Nyambare, Co-Founder, Sprezzatura Kenya, “as defined by many, Sprezzatura is the art of looking great, but without fussiness. A seeming effortlessness or ease with grace in dressing up. It is about looking put together without looking like you’ve spent the whole day in front of a mirror.”
The event on Sunday 6th March, was just the beginning of something that the founders of this brand believe will grow further in the near future and are committed to creating this platform for Kenyan men and women who love fashion, good food and networking to meet and help each other grow in whatever they do.

Many a times the Kenyan man has been accused and rightfully so, of not doing much to make an effort at various occasions unlike the women, who never disappoint. It is with this in mind that Sprezzatura Kenya is making an effort in changing that one day at a time, by hosting events where men clean up, network and have a good time. When you look and smell good, you automatically feel good.
Sprezzatura Kenya also seeks to promote local upcoming fashion designers – more importantly those designing suits and outfits that fit the Sprezzatura vision, Restaurants, premium beverages and cigars and media houses highlighting fashion and style in Kenya.

Michael Jadudi, one of the founders of Sprezzatura Kenya said, “We are creating a movement and that is why we have opened our event to everyone who can live up to the Sprezzatura lifestyle. We give tips on dressing up on our Instagram stories and we encourage networking and promoting businesses of the Sprezzatura attendees. There are so many people who have been lifted through Sprezzatura and we hope that we will get more people on board.”
“What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today, when human contacts are so quick. Fashion is instant language.”
