After around the world and the critical systems they depend on were victims of malicious “WannaCrypt” software, Microsoft re-released security updates for some older versions of its Windows platforms to counter a massive global wave of cyber ransomware attacks.

In a blog post, Microsoft shares the steps every individual and business should take to stay protected.
