Fox News host Laura Ingraham made a hilarious blunder on ‘The Laura Ingraham Angle’ that went viral recently.
She and featured guest, Raymond Arroyo, were discussing the popularity of “un-woke” television shows when he casually mentioned an episode of the Netflix show YOU and the exchange between the two went viral!
Arroyo: I was watching an episode of ‘You,’ where measles came up…
Ingraham: When did I mention measles? We have never done a measles and vaccine episode, is this a joke? I don’t know what you are talking about.
Since Arroyo was referring to the Netflix show ‘You’, he kept repeating the name of the show to clear up the confusion but Ingraham kept thinking he was referring to her show.
Arroyo: It was on You!
Ingraham: Raymond, I have never had measles, what are you talking about? This is stupid.
Arroyo: It was an episode of a show, Laura.
Ingraham: What’s it called?
Arroyo: You! You! It’s called You.
Ingraham: I’ve never done a show on measles!
In frustration Arroyo clarified again, “It’s a show called You on Netflix.”
To which in the heat of this unrehearsed moment of comedic gold Ingraham said “there’s a show called Laura Ingraham on Netflix? What are you talking about?
An endless stream of tweets came rolling in, but the most notable was Penn Badgley, star of the hit show tweeting:
YOU is the popular American psychological thriller on Netflix that follows Joe Goldberg, played by Penn Badgley. He’s obsessed with the idea of true love and ‘accidentally’ kills people on his journey to find his soulmate. The popular series is based on books written by Caroline Kepnes and has been renewed for season four.
