What went down at the Campus Throwdown (Photos)

The first Campus Throwdown event brought out the best of campus talent with university students coming out to showcase what they have to offer in dancing, singing, fashion design, rap, modeling and comedy. It was clear from the event that students have a lot to offer and such a platform provides a unique experience for talent to be exposed.

The event at Secret Lounge brought together universities and colleges in a free flowing, open talent show. Over 250 students from different institutions represented their campuses including; University of Nairobi (UoN), Nazarene University, United States International University (USIU), Zetech, Shang Tao, Mount Kenya University, Multimedia University, JKUAT and Daystar University.
Local artistes such Kalligraph, Small Lethal of Washamba Wenza and Man Njoro made special appearances. The event takes place every month and preparations are underway for the next event.
There are also plans to have a nationwide tour of the Campus Throwdown to reach other students outside Nairobi.
