A woman was left with a hole in her chest after wearing tight underwire bras.

Lynne McConnell, 51, developed a painful cyst in her chest, where the midpoint of the bra sits on her chest, after 15 years of wearing close-fitting bras which she chose after being measured at a shop.
McConnell sought help when the lump grew into a 1.6×1.6 inch rock-hard mass.
The Scottish woman said: “There is a lack of awareness about these types of bras. Something has clearly gone wrong and all I want is for people to learn from what has happened. I don’t want anyone else to go through what I have. It really affected my self-esteem for a long time.
“I couldn’t wear a bra for weeks and I try to take pride in how I look. It wasn’t nice at all.”
According to Bustle, there is a sure way to ensure a bra correctly fits. “The band should rest at the bottom of your shoulder blades, and all of your breast tissue should fit in the cup, with no spillage in the front or back behind the wire,” says bra fitting expert Julia Mastalski.
An ill-fitting bra might have serious health repercussions, a recent study conducted at the Harvard university, has linked wearing tight bras to breast cancer. This is because wearing a very tight bra can restrict blood circulation and can also impair the lymph tissues according to Times of India.
