EASTERN BROWN SNAKE ON KITCHEN BENCH! 😲Here is the video from yesterdays callout where a Rosemount family had an Eastern Brown on their kitchen bench hiding behind the toaster! So lucky that they saw it. He was pretty comfortable up there curled up and minding his own business. He nearly got tangled in the toaster chord but I was able to bag him up safely.StuTo use this video in a commercial player or in broadcasts, please email licensing@storyful.com

Although Stuart admitted the snake almost got caught “in the toaster cord”, he was able to be removed unharmed. He added: “He nearly got tangled in the toaster cord but I was able to bag him up safely.”

According to reports, the Eastern Brown Snake can cope and even thrive in areas of human disturbance, and its natural range includes Australia’s most populated areas, it’s probably encountered more than any other type of snake.
